The following are pictures and tips of how to do a custom paint job.
There is alot more envolved in a paint job than lots of people think.

Wet Sanding
This step is optional by the painter. Because I used a non sanding "Epoxy" primer there is no need to sand it, you can shoot base color directly over the primer once dry without fear.

Because this is my personal car, I decided to wet sand the epoxy primer with a good grade 320 grit sand paper.

(hint add a little dish soap into your water it will keep dirt from sticking to the sand paper)
Sanded "FLAT"
The sanding was done perfectly by "KAREN RUDOLPH"
The reasoning behind the wet sanding before base coat is to eliminate the black specs caused by the dirt in the epoxy sticking through the base coat.
?Pink?
The first color that I have applied is "Rosewood Metalic"
Side of the car all pink?
I had "Ken Barnaby" of Superior Graphics, scan in my paint design into his computer and then he could have a vynil sticker cut out by his sign machine. This will be used to cover over the Black/Purple this way while I'm painting other colors I do not cover over this color with any other colors.

Change of plans! My paint scheme just took on a whole new level. Now in between all of the rips there will be smaller ripped lines of Black/Purple. This awesome idea was brought up when doing the vynil paint masks.

Also the top of the car now has the rips from the side envolved, and it will look even better than the design looks now!
Line Art Drawing
This was needed so we could scan it into the Superior computer and get the exact scheme onto the car.

Superior graphics has done an unbelievable job with the design and paint masks.

I cant wait to debut the car it will look 10 times better than the original design.
Back of helmet
This is a picture of the helmet before I accidentally chipped it.
After repairing my mishap Eddie decided to go to a BRIGHT Volkswagon red, and possibly will get it air brushed and striped.

Between everything I even had time to teach some painting.
